Terms of Service

Turbine lets merchants publish subscription plans priced in USDC, share a hosted checkout page, and receive recurring payments directly to their own Solana wallet. Merchants get a dashboard showing subscribers, revenue and payments; email and webhook notifications for new subscriptions; and API access for custom flows.

Turbine is software. It is not a bank, payment processor, money transmitter, exchange, custodian or adviser of any kind. Turbine never holds your funds and never has access to your private keys.

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.

• You must give accurate account and business information and keep it current. The business name, headline and logo you publish are shown to subscribers on checkout pages and receipts.

• You are responsible for everything done through your account, your API access and your connected wallet. Keep your sign-in method, wallet and webhook signing secret confidential and tell us promptly if any of them is compromised.

• One person may run several businesses under one account. Each business has its own plans, payment wallet, notification settings and checkout link.

Because payments settle on a public blockchain, both merchants and subscribers should understand the mechanics before using Turbine.

• When a merchant publishes a plan, Turbine creates a plan account on Solana with the price, token and billing period. The merchant signs this with their own wallet.

• When a subscriber approves a plan at checkout, their wallet signs a transaction that creates a subscription account and authorises transfers to the merchant's wallet for that plan, up to the plan price per period. The first payment is collected immediately.

• For each later billing period, Turbine's automated collector submits the transfer under that authorisation. If the subscriber's wallet does not hold enough USDC, the payment is not collected for that period.

• A merchant can cancel a plan on-chain from the dashboard, which stops further collections for every subscriber on it.

• Every transaction requires a small Solana network fee. Turbine pays the network fee for period collections; subscribers and merchants pay the fee for transactions they sign.

• On-chain transfers are final. There is no chargeback mechanism. Refunds, if any, are between the subscriber and the merchant.

• You are responsible for reviewing every transaction in your wallet before approving it.

• You are solely responsible for what you sell: the product or service, its description and price, delivery, support, refunds, cancellations, consumer disclosures and taxes.

• You must comply with every law that applies to your business, your customers and your use of digital assets, including sanctions, consumer-protection, tax and data-protection rules in the places you sell.

• If you ask subscribers for an email address, you must have a lawful basis to collect it, use it only as you told the subscriber you would, and honour their requests about it. Turbine sends the subscriber a receipt; everything else you send is your responsibility.

• Webhook endpoints must be public HTTPS URLs that you control. You must verify the signature on every event before acting on it and keep your signing secret confidential.

• You must not use Turbine to sell anything illegal, infringing, deceptive, dangerous or that we notify you is prohibited.

• You must not present Turbine as your own product or as a party to your sales.

When you subscribe through a Turbine checkout page you are buying from the merchant named on that page, not from Turbine. The merchant sets the price, billing period and what you receive. Check the plan details and the amount in your wallet before approving.

Keep enough USDC in your wallet for each period's payment. If a payment cannot be collected, the merchant may end your access. Questions about cancellation, refunds or the service itself go to the merchant. Turbine can help with problems in the checkout flow itself but cannot reverse a transaction or compel a merchant to refund you.

Access to the dashboard and paid features requires an active Turbine plan. Plans are listed on use-turbine.com and are paid in USDC through the same subscription mechanism merchants use with their own customers: you approve the plan once and Turbine collects the price at the start of each period.

Your plan gives you access to the features listed for it for the period you have paid. Turbine does not take a percentage of your subscription revenue. Solana network fees are separate and are not charged by Turbine. Plan fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change plan prices or limits with at least 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next period after the notice ends.

Turbine is in beta. Features may change, be removed or be interrupted while we improve and scale the service. Keep your own records of your subscribers and payments, verify anything important against the blockchain, and do not rely on Turbine as your only record during the beta.

• Do not break the law, breach sanctions or export controls, or infringe anyone's rights.

• Do not use Turbine for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, scams or any scheme that deceives subscribers.

• Do not probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or attempt unauthorised access to Turbine, its API, its program or its infrastructure.

• Do not exceed API rate limits or use another account's credentials, secrets or checkout links.

• Do not upload malware or content that is unlawful, infringing or deceptive.

Turbine depends on services we do not control: the Solana network and validators, RPC providers, wallet software, our sign-in provider, our hosting, email and analytics providers, and the token issuer of USDC. Their availability, behaviour and terms are outside our control, and problems with them are not breaches of these Terms by Turbine.

Turbine and everything that makes it up, including the software, the on-chain program, the design, the brand and the documentation, belong to Turbine or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Turbine as these Terms allow. You keep ownership of the business details, logos and other content you submit, and you grant Turbine a licence to host, display and transmit that content to run the service, including showing it on checkout pages, receipts and notifications.

You can stop using Turbine at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access, unpublish a business or disable checkout links if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, or fail to keep an active plan. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. On termination your licence ends, but plans and subscriptions already on-chain remain on-chain, and sections that by their nature should survive, such as liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.

Turbine is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that the Solana network will process any transaction, that a period's payment will be collected, or that blockchain data we display is complete or current.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Turbine and its owners, team, affiliates and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, or for losses caused by wallet compromise, blockchain or network failure, token depegging, merchant conduct or third-party services. Our total liability for all claims relating to Turbine is limited to the greater of the plan fees you paid us in the three months before the claim or 100 US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Turbine and its owners, team, affiliates and providers from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your business, your products or services, your content, your use of Turbine, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

We may change Turbine and these Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new date, and for material changes we will email merchants at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Turbine after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Turbine is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Contact us first about any dispute; most can be resolved informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way must be brought in the courts with jurisdiction over Turbine's principal place of business, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
