Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Turbine collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, create a merchant account, use our dashboard, or interact with a checkout page powered by Turbine.

Turbine helps businesses offer crypto subscription checkout and related subscription management tools. Blockchain transactions are public by design, and information written to a public blockchain may be visible, permanent, and outside Turbine's control.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated when you use the service, and limited information from third parties that help us operate the service.

  • Account and merchant information, such as your name, email address, business name, business profile details, plan details, and settings.
  • Customer and subscription information entered through checkout or dashboard workflows, such as subscription selections, payment status, wallet addresses, transaction identifiers, and contact information when collected for the merchant.
  • Wallet and blockchain information, such as public wallet addresses, network, token, transaction signatures, timestamps, and other public on-chain data needed to display, verify, or manage subscriptions.
  • Usage and device information, such as pages viewed, referral source, browser type, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, and diagnostics.
  • Communications and support information, including messages you send us and related metadata.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, secure, and improve Turbine.
  • Create and manage merchant accounts, businesses, plans, checkout links, subscriptions, and dashboards.
  • Verify payments, display transaction history, prevent fraud or abuse, and debug technical issues.
  • Send service messages, security notices, product updates, and support responses.
  • Measure product usage and improve onboarding, reliability, and performance.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Turbine, users, merchants, customers, and others.

Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the service working, remember preferences, understand product usage, and improve performance. Our landing page and apps may use analytics providers, including PostHog, to collect product analytics and diagnostic events. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect the service.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as needed to operate Turbine, comply with law, or protect users.

  • With service providers that host, analyze, secure, support, or otherwise process information for us.
  • With merchants and customers as needed to provide checkout, subscription, payment-status, receipt, support, and account-management features.
  • With wallet providers, blockchain networks, RPC providers, and other crypto infrastructure when you connect a wallet or submit a transaction.
  • With authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, compliance obligations, or safety concerns.
  • In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants decide what customer information they collect through Turbine and how they use it for their own businesses. Merchants are responsible for providing any additional notices, consents, refund policies, tax disclosures, and customer-support terms required for their products, services, and jurisdictions.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and public blockchains are not controlled by Turbine. We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential emails. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where permitted or required by law, including records needed for security, compliance, dispute resolution, or public blockchain verification.

Children

Turbine is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. By using Turbine, you understand that information may be transferred, stored, and processed internationally where permitted by law.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you have questions or requests, contact Turbine through the support or contact channel provided in the product.
